मैनपुरी लोकसभा सीट पर हुए उपचुनाव में समाजवादी पार्टी की डिंपल यादव ने बड़ी जीत दर्ज की है। उन्होंने भाजपा के रघुराज सिंह शाक्य पर एक लाख से अधिक वोटों की बढ़त हासिल की। दुग्ध प्रौद्योगिकी महाविद्यालय में चल रही जसवंतनगर क्षेत्र की मतगणना में सपा प्रत्याशी डिंपल यादव पहले राउंड से ही आगे चल रही हैं।

30 राउंड की मतगणना में एक बार भी भाजपा प्रत्याशी रघुराज सिंह शाक्य आगे नहीं हुए। डिंपल की जीत तय मानकर सपा समर्थकों ने जश्न मनाना भी शुरू कर दिया है। उधर, समाजवादी पार्टी प्रमुख लखनऊ से इटावा पहुंच गए हैं। इससे पहले पूर्व सांसद धर्मेंद्र यादव नेताजी को नमन कर मैनपुरी के लिए रवाना हुए।
